About Us

Exelon Power is the business unit within Exelon Generation Company, LLC that is responsible for managing, operating and maintaining the company's fossil (coal, oil and natural gas), landfill gas, hydro, wind and solar-powered fleet of generating assets. Exelon Power has assets in 16 states and in Alberta, Canada and in total the fleet is capable of generating more than 12,500 megawatts (MW) of electricity.

Exelon Power's diverse generating portfolio enables the company to be competitive in the deregulated power market during the intermediate seasons and peak demand periods. Exelon Power builds upon existing relationships by continuing to promote strong community relations, stressing environmental and safety performance, while being a solid corporate citizen in the states and communities in which it operates.

Ron DeGregorio

PRESIDENT, EXELON POWER
In his role as president of Exelon Power, DeGregorio oversees the operations and maintenance of Exelon Generation's fossil (coal, oil and natural gas), landfill gas, hydro, wind and solar-powered fleet of generating assets that are capable of generating more than 12,500 megawatts of electricity in 16 states and Alberta, Canada.


John Barnes

COO, EXELON POWER
A veteran of the electric utility industry with nearly 30 years of experience, Barnes oversees the operations of Exelon Generation’s fossil, renewable and hydroelectric fleet of generating assets. He is responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operations of generation stations located in Exelon Power’s Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and South/West Regions.


Jim Carty

VICE PRESIDENT, NORTHEAST REGION
As vice president of the Northeast Region, Carty leads Exelon Power’s Northeast Operations with complete oversight and executive responsibility for more than 2,000 megawatts of fossil generation in Massachusetts.


David Drescher

VICE PRESIDENT, WIND AND SOLAR
In his role as vice president of Wind and Solar, Exelon Power, Drescher is responsible for the business development, energy marketing, industry relations and public policy for Exelon Generation’s wind and solar generating assets.


Dan Haught

VICE PRESIDENT, CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
As vice president of Construction and Project Management, Haught oversees all large construction projects including project management of new generation builds.


Gerome Randle

VICE PRESIDENT, SOUTH/WEST REGION
With over 20 years’ experience in the electric utility industry, as vice president of Exelon Power’s South/West Region, Randle has complete oversight and executive responsibility for over 5,000 megawatts of fossil generation located in Alabama, Texas, Utah and Alberta, Canada.


Glen Robinson

VICE PRESIDENT OF EXELON INDUSTRIAL SERVICES
Robinson oversees Exelon Industrial Services which provides technical and support services to Exelon Generation’s fossil, renewable and hydroelectric fleet of generating assets.


Dave Sikora

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
As vice president of Engineering and Support Services, Exelon Power, Sikora oversees the development and acquisition of new generation and all engineering and related support for Exelon Generation’s fossil and hydroelectric generation fleet. His responsibilities also include asset acquisition, due diligence and new power plant construction.


Vicky Will

VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS SUPPORT
As vice president of Operations Support, Exelon Power, Will leads the strategic direction and vision for Exelon Generation’s fleet of fossil, hydroelectric and renewable generating assets in the areas of maintenance, work management, human performance, safety, environmental and regulatory affairs. She also oversees the company’s efforts to relicense Conowingo and Muddy Run, hydroelectric assets located in Maryland and Pennsylvania, respectively.


Bill Swahl

VICE PRESIDENT, MID-ATLANTIC REGION
As vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Region, Swahl leads Exelon Power’s Mid-Atlantic Operations with oversight and executive responsibility for nearly 5,000 megawatts of fossil, landfill gas and hydroelectric generation in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Illinois.
